Awesome customer service! They closed early for voting ( 3:30) I tried the door at 3:35( never hurts) anyways it was locked. So as I was walking away a man from the store asked if he could help?He let me in the store and helped me..Again thank you so much!

I love this store!! The staff is lovely and helpful!! The store is clean and organized. And the selection is great. I went to Fabricland a few days before and it was one of the worst shopping experiences of my life!! But Cloth Castle never disappoints. Comparing the two stores and experiences reminds me so much why I love shopping small local stores, you just can't beat it. Thank you Cloth Castle and staff!!

I just went in for the first time and they were just the nicest people, really welcoming and helpful. My friend who sews a lot says about $20 a metre is standard for Victoria and my purchases came to under $20 for a metre and a half so for what I wanted they weren't overpriced at all and I wasn't even hunting for the bargains. Their selection is extensive and beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

I’m so glad one of my friends told me about this place. Definitely a must stop when in the area. I didn’t even make it upstairs, I found so many lovely things downstairs. Michael was very friendly and talkative while cutting the zillion bolts I chose.I also found some Cosmo Sparkle floss which is super exciting. I’m trying to experiment more with other types of thread and was pleased to find them here.100% will visit again when back on the Island and I’m looking forward to your online store!

As a novice quilter, Genevieve was so patient, kind and helpful in helping me understand my pattern and figure out what color scheme would work for my quilt. ETA: Went in the other day and the cross stitch section has expanded with a wider selection of high quality hoops and specialty aida!! Customer service continues to be excellent, Cloth Castle is now my #1 store for all my fabric craft needs.Mostly geared towards general sewing and quilting, but there is a good starter selection of cross stitch supplies and pretty much a full selection of DMC threads, needles, aida cloth/linen/evenweave, and erasable fabric markers & pencils. Customer service is EXCELLENT, prices are reasonable and they're very willing to order items in. I've caught some great deals on their website as well! Staff was continuing to be very diligent about COVID protection last time I visited, with a hand sanitizer station, staff masking, and dividers at checkout, which I really appreciated. Always happy to shop here for my projects!

Decent selection of fabric and notions.But the most unhappy staff going. I always feel like I am putting them out if I ask a question and as a result they are not particularly happy to help. Dies not make you want to return it to develop loyalty, they are close by and therefore convenient.
